These Terms govern your use of Showpiece (the “Service”) at showpiece.studio. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
The Service
Showpiece is a platform that lets visual creatives organize, publish, deliver, and monetize their work — including portfolios, client galleries, bookings, and payments. We provide the tools; you are responsible for how you use them and for your relationships with your own clients.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for activity under your account and, where you invite teammates to a workspace, for their access.
Your content
You retain all ownership of the content you upload. You grant Showpiece a limited license to host, store, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you (for example, generating previews, serving galleries you share, and delivering files). You represent that you have the rights to the content you upload and the right to share it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- upload or share content that is illegal, infringing, or that you lack rights to;
- upload sexual content involving minors or any unlawful material;
- violate others' privacy or intellectual-property rights;
- abuse, overload, probe, or attempt to break the Service or its security;
- use the Service to send spam or for fraudulent payments.
We may suspend or remove content or accounts that violate these Terms.
Plans, fees & payments
- Subscriptions. Paid plans (Pro, Studio) and the RAW archive add-on are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and renew automatically until cancelled. Our payments and subscriptions are handled by Paddle.com, which acts as the merchant of record for these purchases: Paddle is the seller, issues your receipt, and collects and remits any applicable sales tax or VAT. You can cancel anytime from your billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and you keep access until then.
- Refunds. Set out in full in our Refund Policy. In short: if Showpiece isn't right for you, email hello@showpiece.studio within 14 days of a subscription charge and we'll refund it in full — no conditions attached. After that window, we don't refund the remainder of a billing period, but you can cancel at any time to stop future charges. Refunds are issued through Paddle to your original payment method, and nothing in this section limits any refund right you have under applicable law.
- Client payments are yours, not ours. Showpiece is not a payment processor and never holds, routes, or takes a cut of money your clients pay you. You supply your own payment link or payment details, your clients pay you directly through whatever provider you use, and you mark the invoice settled in Showpiece. The transaction is between you and your client: you are responsible for delivering the services or goods they pay for, for any refunds you owe them, and for applicable taxes.
- Storage. Plans and add-ons include storage limits; uploads beyond your limit may be blocked until you upgrade or free space.
Messaging (email & SMS)
The Service sends transactional messages — booking notifications, reminders, client message threads, and similar — by email and, where enabled, by SMS from a platform phone number. Message and data rates may apply to SMS; recipients can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP. By entering a phone number (yours or a client's who has given it to you for their booking), you confirm the number's owner consents to receive these service-related messages. The Service is not for marketing blasts, and you may not use it to send unsolicited messages.
Contracts & electronic signatures
The Service lets you send contracts, proposals, and forms that your clients review and sign electronically (typed-name signature with a recorded timestamp and IP address). You and your clients consent to transacting electronically; electronic signatures collected this way are intended to be legally effective under applicable e-signature laws. Showpiece is not a law firm: starter templates are provided for convenience, are not legal advice, and you are responsible for the content and enforceability of the agreements you send.
Third-party services
The Service integrates optional third parties (e.g. Paddle, Google, Microsoft, Dropbox, Instagram/Meta, Twilio, Prodigi, Resend). Your use of those features is also subject to those providers' terms — for example, connecting Instagram is subject to Meta's platform terms — and we aren't responsible for their services.
Our intellectual property
The Service itself — software, design, and brand — belongs to Showpiece. These Terms grant you no rights to it beyond using the Service as intended.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that should survive (e.g. payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations) will survive.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost — keep your own backups of important work.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Showpiece will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; we'll revise the “last updated” date and, for material changes, provide notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
