🎨 Portfolio, domain & branding
Your portfolio is the front door: the work you choose, your name, your colors — and on paid plans, your own domain with no Showpiece branding anywhere.
Publish & theme
- Portfolio: claim a handle, write your headline and bio, add links, choose accent color, light/dark, grid or masonry.
- Toggle which albums are public; pick a cover and avatar from your own photos.
- Publish — you're at showpiece.studio/@you and you.showpiece.studio immediately.
Contact form, Instagram & insights
- “Work with me”: your portfolio has a contact form (on unless you switch it off in Portfolio). Messages land on the Clients page as new inquiries and are emailed to you.
- Want inquiries from another site, like a Pixieset website, Linktree or your email signature? In Portfolio, click “Copy contact link” (it's showpiece.studio/@yourhandle#contact) and paste it there. On a Pixieset website: + Add Page → Link, name it “Contact”, paste the link, Create, then publish. Use showpiece.studio/@yourhandle/book instead to send people straight to booking.
- Instagram: in Portfolio → Sections tab → Instagram, connect a professional (business or creator) Instagram account and tick “Show my Instagram feed on my portfolio” to show your latest posts. On iPhone, connect from Safari while signed in to instagram.com, or from a computer; it's a one-time step. Instagram is still approving Showpiece, so for now we add your account by hand first: email hello@showpiece.studio and we'll set it up.
- Insights: the Portfolio page's Stats & domain tab shows the last 30 days of visits to your portfolio and booking page, inquiries, and where visitors came from.
💡 Want your portfolio's Book button on your own website instead? Use the booking embed in Bookings → Setup.
Your own domain (Pro & Studio)
- Portfolio → Stats & domain tab → Custom domain: enter yourname.com.
- Add the two DNS records shown (an A record for a root domain, a CNAME for a subdomain) wherever your domain lives.
- Click “Check status” — SSL is provisioned automatically. Your portfolio and booking page now live on your domain.
Watermarks
Set your watermark text once (Portfolio → Watermark tab). It overlays view-mode galleries and, if you choose, your public portfolio.
Reviews (“Kind words”)
After each session, clients get an automatic follow-up with a review link. You moderate which reviews publish to your portfolio — and 4–5★ reviewers are nudged to repost on Google if you've set your Google review link.
