๐Ÿ’ณ Getting paid

Connect your own Stripe account once (Bookings โ†’ Setup) and every payment goes straight to you โ€” Showpiece never holds your money. Paid plans keep 100% of every sale; the Free plan has a 5% platform fee.

Deposits

Add a deposit to any service and booking requests require payment up front: the client books, pays in Stripe checkout, and the slot is held the moment they commit. If checkout is abandoned, the hold releases automatically.

Invoices

  1. Payments โ†’ New invoice: bill a booking balance (prefilled from the service price minus the deposit) or any standalone amount.
  2. The client pays from a link โ€” card, or bank transfer if you enable ACH โ€” no account needed.
  3. Sales tax (set your rate once in Payments โ†’ Discounts & tax) and optional client tips are handled on the payment page.
  4. Payment plans: split any invoice into monthly installments; reminders chase each one automatically.

Proposals (quote โ†’ contract โ†’ deposit in one link)

  1. Payments โ†’ Proposals: build a quote with line items, terms, an optional contract, and an optional deposit.
  2. The client reviews, signs, and pays in a single page. Accepted proposals advance the client's pipeline stage automatically.

Extras that add up

Coupons โ€” percent or fixed, scoped to bookings or downloads, with expiry and usage caps.

Gift cards โ€” sold from your public page; the balance applies at booking checkout.

Print store โ€” clients order prints from any gallery; a pro lab (Prodigi) prints and ships, you set the margin.

Earnings โ€” the Payments page rolls up everything (deposits, invoices, downloads) with a monthly trend and CSV export for bookkeeping, plus an expenses tracker for a simple P&L.
