📱 Dashboard, notifications & phone app
The dashboard is your morning check-in: your next session, what needs attention, recent activity and your albums. A few settings make it work the way you do.
Quick actions
- On the dashboard, find the Quick actions card and click “Customize”.
- Tick up to 8 shortcuts (New album, Add a booking, Send invoice, Email clients, Mood boards and more) and order them with the arrows.
- Save. “Reset to default” puts the original four back.
Put Showpiece on your phone
- iPhone: open showpiece.studio in Safari, tap the Share button, then “Add to Home Screen”.
- Android: open showpiece.studio in Chrome, tap the ⋮ menu, then “Install app” (or “Add to Home screen”).
- It opens full-screen like an app, and you stay signed in. Uploading from your phone pulls straight from your camera roll.
Notifications
- Email: you're emailed about new inquiries, booking requests, client replies, paid deposits and paid print orders. Nothing to set up. Signed contracts and finished forms show up on the client's profile and in your sent lists.
- Push: Bookings → Setup → Push notifications → turn on, and allow notifications when your browser asks. Do this on each device you want pinged.
- On iPhone, push only works once Showpiece is on your Home Screen (iOS 16.4 or newer). Turn it on from the Home Screen app, not from Safari.
Finding anything fast
Library (in the menu) searches every photo in every album by filename or tag, and filters by stars, so you never have to remember which album something's in.
