📸 Galleries & client delivery
Delivery is a tokenized link, not an account: every share link is its own private gallery with its own rules. One album can have many links — a watermarked proofing link for selects and a clean full-res delivery link after final payment.
The two link modes
Preview (view only) — a browsing gallery. Clients see web-size images (optionally watermarked); no downloads. Use it for proofing, previews, and “here's a taste” shares.
Full-res delivery — each photo downloads individually, and the whole gallery downloads as a ZIP.
💡 You can revoke (and restore) any link from the Galleries page at any time — revoking one link never affects the others.
Protecting a gallery
- Password — set one on the link; clients enter it once per device.
- Expiry — links can auto-expire (you'll get a reminder email 3 days before, so you can extend or re-deliver).
- Watermark — your watermark tiles over the gallery on screen. It starts on for previews and off for full-res delivery (on again if you price the downloads); the files themselves stay clean.
Client proofing & sign-off
- Turn on “proofing” when creating the link — clients can favorite photos and leave comments, no account needed.
- You see hearts and comments on each photo in the album and on the Galleries page (open a link to review it).
- Clients can formally approve their selections — the gallery locks their picks and you get a record of who approved and when.
- Need the picks in Lightroom? The share review page has “Copy filenames” — paste straight into Lightroom's Library filter.
Who's looked at a gallery
Open any link on the Galleries page to see its views, unique visitors and downloads, with a 30-day trend. It's a quick way to know a client has actually opened their photos before you follow up.
Selling downloads (watermarked until purchased)
- When you share a delivery gallery, set a price for full-resolution downloads.
- Visitors see watermarked previews; to buy, they enter their email and pay — through your Square (the gallery unlocks the moment it's paid) or your payment link (it unlocks when you mark the invoice paid).
- Buyers get clean originals and a ZIP, plus an emailed unlock link that works on any device.
Tip jar (for free or gifted shoots)
- When you share a gallery, turn on “Tip jar”.
- Clients see a small “Leave a tip” button that opens your own payment link (PayPal, Venmo, Cash App…) — the money goes straight to you.
Slideshows
Every gallery has a built-in full-screen slideshow (the ▶ button) with Ken Burns motion and keyboard controls. You can attach your own licensed music track to a link when you create it.
