📸 Galleries & client delivery
Delivery is a tokenized link, not an account: every share link is its own private gallery with its own rules. One album can have many links — a watermarked proofing link for selects and a clean full-res delivery link after final payment.
The two link modes
View — a browsing gallery. Clients see web-size images (optionally watermarked); no downloads. Use it for proofing, previews, and “here's a taste” shares.
Download — full-resolution delivery. Each photo downloads individually, and the whole gallery downloads as a ZIP.
💡 You can revoke (and restore) any link from the Shares page at any time — revoking one link never affects the others.
Protecting a gallery
- Password — set one on the link; clients enter it once per device.
- Expiry — links can auto-expire (you'll get a reminder email 3 days before, so you can extend or re-deliver).
- Watermark — your watermark text tiles over view-mode images on screen. The files themselves stay clean.
Client proofing & sign-off
- Turn on “proofing” when creating the link — clients can favorite photos and leave comments, no account needed.
- You see hearts and comments on each photo in the album and in the Shares review screen.
- Clients can formally approve their selections — the gallery locks their picks and you get a record of who approved and when.
- Need the picks in Lightroom? The share review page has “Copy filenames” — paste straight into Lightroom's Library filter.
Selling downloads (watermark until purchased)
- With payments connected, set a price on a download link.
- Visitors see watermarked proofs; the ZIP is locked.
- When a client pays (Stripe checkout), their downloads switch to clean full-resolution originals automatically.
Slideshows
Every gallery has a built-in full-screen slideshow (the ▶ button) with Ken Burns motion and keyboard controls. You can attach your own licensed music track to a link when you create it.
